Bio
Well, as you probably already gathered, my name is Vickye. I’m 16 and I live in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England [near London]. Basically my life is in my music, my singing and songwriting. I decided I wanted to be a singer when I was 6, and I saw S Club 7 peform on Top Of The Pops [UK Chart show]. I’ve been singing since forever and I wouldn’t have my life any other way. I began writing songs when I was 10 years old, in August 2002. It doesn’t sound like very long ago, and believe me it doesn’t feel like it either, but I’ve since written approx 540 songs. I discovered country music when I was 13, and I was watching Kellie Pickler on American Idol. I liked the music she was singing, and I found out that it was country, since it’s such an unknown genre in the UK. Well then Kellie Pickler moved to Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Dixie Chicks, and Dolly Parton, and now she’s my idol, as well as Paula Abdul and Taylor Swift. I have a list of my influences here, and although some may not have influenced me as much as others, they are still all awesome artists, so you should go check them out. :]

A lot of my life is just listening to music, and that is the enjoyment of it, but my singing improves seriously every day, and I can sing more and more songs and genres than ever before. As for making it, I’m continuing with school, I'm rehearsing with friends and trying to record as much as possible. Then I will probably send those off to publishers, and I’ll make the songs available for download right here.
